Just Me, Mylee

A mother, a writer, a happiness-seeker and self-improvement junkie navigating through life in the city.

Hello!

It’s me, Mylee. Welcome to my new blog.

Here’s the thing though. I already have a blog. It’s called Your Path To Happy. It’s a self-improvement blog with the goal of helping people find new ways to be happy. You can find it here.

So what’s with this blog, you ask?

Plain and simply, I love to write. Aside from the above-mentioned blog, I’m also in the process of writing a young adult novel which I’m hoping I can share with the world before the end of the year. In addition to the blog and the young adult novel, I also write a lot of things that never see the light of day.

I just love to write.

This new blog, “It’s Me, Mylee”, is just another means for me to quench my thirst for writing. Whereas Your Path To Happy is a self-improvement blog, It’s Me, Mylee will be my online journal where I can share my thoughts, my opinions, my dreams, my experiences on (potentially) a daily basis. Maybe some of the things I write will resonate with you. Maybe not. In the end, if all it does is give you that feeling that you’re not alone in this world, well, that’s all I’m really hoping for.

So now that that’s out of the way, are you wondering “Who in the world is Mylee?”

I’m a working mother of three living in San Francisco, the beautiful city by the bay. While I can’t say I was born and raised in the city, my family arrived here from the Philippines when I was one so I’d say I’m pretty close. I headed 80 miles south for my college years in Santa Cruz but came back after and have been here ever since.

I’m a writer, a happiness-seeker and a self-improvement junkie who admits to sometimes indulging in a bit of navel-gazing but also engages in behavior motivated purely by altruism.

If you so desire, follow along with me and subscribe below. I promise not to bombard your inbox with a ton of email. The good news is that you can unsubscribe anytime.
